　　記錄生命的痕跡

　　從上個(gè)世紀(jì)八十年代初的《小路》到八十年代后期的《零》再到這二十多年以來(lái)的抽象繪畫(huà)，王川始終在實(shí)現(xiàn)著自己藝術(shù)的轉(zhuǎn)變，這種轉(zhuǎn)變不僅僅是關(guān)于形式和風(fēng)格層面的，而且和內(nèi)在的生命氣象密切相關(guān)。每一次轉(zhuǎn)變都可以看作是他的生命痕跡的記錄。繪畫(huà)對(duì)于王川來(lái)講是極為重要的。畫(huà)畫(huà)能夠給予他安心與幸福，甚至曾經(jīng)在生死關(guān)頭時(shí)喚起他的生命。他始終在用自己的藝術(shù)探尋著生命的終極意義。通過(guò)藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作，他告訴我們對(duì)于生命的深切體悟，那就是“開(kāi)始的時(shí)候什么都不會(huì)來(lái)，中間的時(shí)候什么都留不住，最后的時(shí)候什么都會(huì)在。我們用生命能量闖關(guān)，闖一關(guān)就是一個(gè)層次，體悟的事竟然如此不同：生命有何意義并不重要，重要的是我們?nèi)绾钨x予它意義！”

　　Register the trail of life

　　From the work in the early 1980s to in the late 1980s,then to the abstract art in the following two decades, Wang Chuan has been realizing the change of his art, the change is not only about the aspects of form and style, but also be related to the inherent life. Every change can be seen as the trail of his life. Painting is very important to Wang Chuan. It can give him ease and happiness, and even once called up his life during the moment when fate hangs in the balance. He seeks the supreme meaning of life via art creation all the time. In the process, he informs us of the deep taste to life: “At the beginning there is nothing; then in between nothing can be retained; but everything is there at the final end. It is not important what meaning life has, but how we endow life with meaning!”
