沙嫵若

Varvara Shavrova was born in Moscow, Russia. She moved to London in 1989 to pursue her career as an artist. She lived and worked in London's East End for over 15 years, with intensive periods of work also spent in Ireland. In 2005 she moved to Beijing, China, where now lives and works with her Irish engineer husband and their two young sons.

        沙嫵若生于莫斯科，俄羅斯。她于1989年移居倫敦，從此開(kāi)創(chuàng)其藝術(shù)事業(yè)。她工作和生活在東倫敦達(dá)15年，在愛(ài)爾蘭的日子也曾是她創(chuàng)作地高峰期。2005年她攜先生及兩個(gè)年幼的兒子移居北京，同時(shí)繼續(xù)藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作。

        沙嫵若：‘逝’——一本170頁(yè)的精致畫冊(cè)將由北京東八時(shí)區(qū) (Timezone8)出版。尊敬的愛(ài)爾蘭駐華大使戴可瀾先生為本書致序言。XunZhou博士為本書撰寫前言，他是倫敦大學(xué)亞非學(xué)院（SOAS)研究員，香港大學(xué)助理研究教授，駐倫敦學(xué)院大學(xué)Wellcome信托基金機(jī)構(gòu)中心、醫(yī)學(xué)歷史研究員。本書論文由何凱特（Katie Hill)博士撰寫，她是倫敦威斯敏斯特大學(xué)(University of Westminster)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)方面的資深講師。
