“敢于直面人生，不回避人間的苦難，并用一種非常溫柔的、同情的眼光注視著他周圍的人和事，同時又很敏銳地用幽默的筆調(diào)加以刻畫。他的作品不但具有幽默感、親切感，還具有十分的真實性和震撼力。訴說著無限的人性之美。”這是人們對攝影師王剛鋒先生的評價。
王剛鋒生于50年代末的上海，少年時適逢文化大革命，艱苦的生活使他決心自學(xué)攝影，用鏡頭記錄百態(tài)人生。80年代末，他憑借出色的攝影作品在加拿大成功舉辦多次影展，引起強烈反響。90年代初，定居加拿大后他堅持不懈地創(chuàng)作，作品多次獲得國際攝影大獎。1991年，他被加拿大的PHOTOLIFE雜志評選為最杰出的25位攝影師之一；1994年在美國著名雜志《快門迷》舉辦的國際攝影大賽中，他的作品獲專業(yè)一等獎；同年，獲得英國“百齡壇”國際攝影大賽冠軍(其作品“孺子牛”從來自56個國家的12000張參賽作品中脫穎而出)；1995年又榮獲“百齡壇”國際攝影大賽第二、三等獎；18幅作品被瑞士博物館永久收藏；雀巢咖啡公司收購全世界藝術(shù)珍品60件，他占了2件。毋庸置疑，他已是一位當(dāng)仁不讓的世界級的攝影大師。

Gangfeng Wang was among the first in Shanghai to make his living as a freelance photographer who was born in 1956. His work was noticed in a hotel gift shop in 1986 by a Canadian visitor to Shanghai, who arranged for an exhibition of his work in Montreal. Since 1989, his works have been exhibited throughout North America. He has traveled extensively throughout China capturing simple, but striking images of everyday life. In reference to work, Wang says “I always wanted to be a photographer, to celebrate the extraordinary beauty of people in China.”
