伊斯坦布爾雙年展學(xué)術(shù)性強(qiáng)，地緣重要，今年由兩位來自丹麥的藝術(shù)家組合策展，主題為“好鄰居”，最終的效果，很純粹。
蕭昱是今年唯一受邀的中國藝術(shù)家，他的作品《地》（2014/2017）自北京展出后，再次出現(xiàn)在伊斯坦布爾現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館，是此次展覽的核心空間。
策展人在對整個展覽的闡述時，說“你一走進(jìn)伊斯坦布爾現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館，就會看到一塊人工做的耕地，如果你到的早的話，還會看到兩位中國農(nóng)民和一頭驢……”
以下是蕭昱在此行中的記錄。

抵達(dá)伊斯坦布爾
轉(zhuǎn)移至伊斯坦布爾北邊的駐地，沿海的小村莊Kisirka

中國來的一家農(nóng)戶，做中國菜，已經(jīng)與當(dāng)?shù)氐墓ぷ魅藛T成了一家人
第一次見這只小黑驢，它正打著滾。蕭昱與作品團(tuán)隊與它一起相伴20多天。
小驢從來沒有干過農(nóng)活，土耳其并沒有使用驢犁地的傳統(tǒng)，所有的工具都要重新改造

離開海邊的前一個晚上，恰好是工作人員Asye的生日
三個星期的訓(xùn)練之后，驢被運(yùn)到了伊斯坦布爾現(xiàn)代美術(shù)館，這是本屆雙年展的核心展館
小驢和農(nóng)民們，都要去適應(yīng)全新的環(huán)境

預(yù)展前一晚，與策展人與工作人員在商量視頻作品的細(xì)節(jié)；我們提前看到了組委會的宣傳片，片頭與片尾都用了《地》這件作品的影像。
