非常印象――2008中國(guó)后生代油畫(huà)作品展

時(shí)下正是農(nóng)歷小滿節(jié)氣,自然萬(wàn)物,別春入夏,朝氣蓬勃,風(fēng)華正茂。我忽然想起一句農(nóng)諺,“小滿小滿,麥粒漸滿”。非常印象――2008中國(guó)后生代油畫(huà)作品展的十位參展藝術(shù)家就猶如顆粒漸滿的小麥,他們不斷的生長(zhǎng),蓄積強(qiáng)勁的實(shí)力,正成就著中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)一股不可小覷的力量。
他們大多出生于文革時(shí)期。在他們的成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程中,曾經(jīng)歷了70年代文化革命后期的革命文化時(shí)尚;到80年代的理想主義、85新潮;90年代商業(yè)極度膨脹的消費(fèi)時(shí)代;可以說(shuō)他們經(jīng)歷了和正在經(jīng)歷整個(gè)后文革時(shí)代,正是這些獨(dú)特的夾縫中成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷,使得這一代藝術(shù)家的作品中從來(lái)不缺少內(nèi)涵與思想。對(duì)于八十年代出生的人,“文革情結(jié)”也許已逐漸成為歷史,可是對(duì)于文革時(shí)期出生的“后生代”卻有著千絲萬(wàn)縷的聯(lián)系。他們的作品往往透露出對(duì)社會(huì)的人文關(guān)懷,對(duì)生活的感悟,對(duì)心靈深處那塊靜謐的敲琢,對(duì)純粹藝術(shù)的禮拜,對(duì)繪畫(huà)對(duì)生活的終極探尋……
“非常印象――中國(guó)后生代油畫(huà)展”,是我這幾年持續(xù)策劃的一個(gè)主題展。我所選擇的“后生代”油畫(huà)家是出生或出道晚于“新生代”,但其追求又截然不同于七零后、八零后及卡通一代,是一批講究藝術(shù)原創(chuàng)性、繪畫(huà)技術(shù)性和作品社會(huì)性并且有著學(xué)院背景的創(chuàng)作欲望和實(shí)力極強(qiáng)的油畫(huà)家。看著這一批畫(huà)家作品畫(huà)面中表現(xiàn)出來(lái)的種種歷程及印跡,每每都能觸動(dòng)我。畫(huà)布上的每一點(diǎn)亮色都能照亮我,每一個(gè)形象都能感染我,帶給我一些驚喜與感悟。“小滿”過(guò)后,經(jīng)過(guò)進(jìn)而呵護(hù)與醞釀,必將迎來(lái)金燦燦的收獲。

Unusual Impression---Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition of Post-generation 2008

It is among the Lunar Solar Terms Grain Fills. I suddenly remember a farming proverb, saying that “Grain Fills, Grain Fills, kernel will full gradually.” The 10 participating artists like the growing up wheat, who are keeping growth and cumulating their strength. They will become one of un-ignored power in Chinese contemporary art in future.
Most of them are born in Cultural Revolution. In their growth process, they have experienced from the revolutionary cultural fashion of Cultural Revolution in the late 1970s, the idealism and 85 trendy in the 1980s, to the consumer era of the 1990s. It can be said that they experienced and are experiencing the post-Cultural Revolution era. Because of this unique growth experience, their works are never lack of meaning and ideology. For the people born in the 1980s, the "Cultural Revolution complex" may have gradually become history, but for the people born in Culture Revolution, there are countless ties between them. Their works are often revealed the humanistic concern for the society, the sentiment for the lives, pursuing the quiet of the depth of the soul, worship for the arts, searching of the life and drawing and so on.
Unusual Impression-Chinese Post-generation oil painting exhibition is a theme exhibition that I continued to plan these years. The Post-generation I chosen are born later than New-generation, whose pursuits are totally different from 70’s, 80’s or Cartoon generation. They are a group of oil painter with academic background, which has a strong creative desire and strengths and pays more attention on originality, painting techniques and sociality. The variety experiences and traces on their canvas often move me. Every bright brushwork always can illuminate me and every image can move me and bring me some surprises and gnosis. I believe after Grain Fills and having further care and cumulating, the gold harvest will come soon.
